Cell Impact's first recruitment in China

Cell Impact AB (publ) has recruited Ms. Tingting Guan as its first local resource in China, starting in October. Tingting Guan has a doctorate in fuel cell systems from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, and she will be based in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province.

China is investing forcefully to address its environment and emission problems. The Chinese government has an ambitious agenda for the electrification of the transport sector, and hydrogen fuel cells play an important role in this strategy. The development of fuel cell technology in China is intensive, and the market is likely to become one of the largest for environmentally friendly vehicles.

The global fuel cell industry has a significant focus on China as a fuel cell growth engine. We can see this in an increasing stream of requests for production and delivery of flow plates, but also for our participation in product development.

The recruitment of Tingting Guan is a first but important step to enter the Chinese fuel cell technology market early with our unique method of forming complex flow plates for efficient hydrogen fuel cells. Cell Impact's strategy for China is producing and delivering flow plates to well-positioned fuel cell manufacturers and to grow with increased demand.
